Our Story
In February of 2008, Paula Nelson had an idea...feeling that Hilton Head Island was missing a chocolate store for both locals and visitors, she opened Chocolates by the Sea. For over a decade, Chocolates by the Sea has been established as having Hilton Head Island's finest confections. Winning awards each year, locals and visitors travel to come to taste the delectable hand dipped chocolates, signature barks, and specialty items that Paula has made so popular.
